The Kingdom of Bahrain will celebrate its 45th national day at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., according to an invitation from the country’s embassy obtained Tuesday by Politico. The hotel, which is owned by President-elect Donald Trump, recently opened at the refurbished site of the Old Post Office. “On the occasion of the forty fifth national day of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the seventeenth anniversary of his majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne,” the invitation reads. “Ambassador Abdulla Al Khalifa cordially invites you to a national day reception on Wednesday, December 07, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.”
