Ghesquière Sued by Balenciaga: Nicolas Ghesquière is being sued by his former employer, Balenciaga, for violating French freedom of expression mandates, which allow companies to seek damages when an employee or former employee “potentially imperils an enterprise,” reports WWD. The charges stem from Ghesquière’s interview in System magazine, in which he basically stated that Balenciaga’s mounting calendar of collections had driven him to professional misery. An initial hearing is expected this fall. [WWD]
Jake Gyllenhaal the Modelizer?: Jake Gyllenhaal, beloved heartthrob and actor, has been accused of being a newly-minted modelizer. The handsome thespian has reportedly moved on from Sports Illustrated model flame Emily DiDonato in favor of her fellow SI star Alyssa Miller, reports Page Six. [NY Post]
Rachel Zoe Possibly Expecting Baby: Rachel Zoe is expecting her second child, sources tell Us Weekly. The 41-year-old celebrity stylist had her first child (a son, Skyler) with husband Rodger Berman in 2011. A representative for Zoe did not comment on the reports. [Us Weekly]
Abercrombie’s Taylor Swift Recall: Taylor Swift fans have ganged up on Abercrombie & Fitch for the brand’s shirt that reads ‘# more boyfriends than t.s.’, which riffs on Swift’s tabloid reputation for having an endless supply of male companions. (Not to mention that the shirt does not follow procedural Internet language, as hashtags do not employ the use of spaces or punctuation.) The massive fan outcry prompted A&F to pull the store from store shelves. [The Cut]
