Bank Robbery Suspect Was Trying to Impress Taylor Swift, Police Say
He allegedly stole $1,600 and then went to propose to the pop star.

A Connecticut man accused of robbing a bank last week was just trying to impress pop star Taylor Swift, authorities say. Twenty-six-year-old Bruce Rowley allegedly stole $1,600 and then drove about 60 miles to Swift’s Rhode Island home and began throwing the cash over the fence. Police said “it seemed he wanted to propose.” Rowley was held in jail Friday on a $100,000 bond.
