Bannon, Lewandowski Asked to Testify in House Russia Probe
BRING ’EM IN
Steve Bannon and Corey Lewandowski, President Trump’s former chief strategist and former campaign manager, respectively, have reportedly been asked to testify before House investigators looking into Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. The men received letters for a “voluntary interview” at the House Intelligence Committee, and the invitations requested their presence in early January, Bloomberg reported. Neither of the men have yet responded and, should they accept, the interviews would take place behind closed doors. A rep for Bannon declined to comment to The Daily Beast; and Lewandowski did not return a request for comment.
