The Republican nominee’s advisers say a low bar is set for Romney as they prepare for the third presidential debate, which will focus on foreign policy. The president, who will be sure to tout the elimination of Osama bin Laden as well as the withdrawal of troops from Iraq and a looming deadline in Afghanistan, is expected to take the evening. The Romney advisers say this debate may be their last chance to win crucial swing voters over before the election—so long as their guy doesn’t mess up and insult a major ally again.
