The man suspected of driving the van in last week’s Barcelona terror attack was shot and killed by police in Subirats, an area west of Barcelona, on Monday, BBC News reported. The police earlier stated that they have been searching for Younes Abouyaaqoub, 22, who is suspected of driving a van into a crowd in Barcelona last week, killing 13 and injuring more than 130 people. When he was shot, police said, he was wearing an apparent bomb belt. Regional police later confirmed that Abouyaaqoub was the man shot down by officials.
