A pantsless photograph of Carla Bruni, taken by Helmut Newton in 1992, is going up for auction at Philips de Pury in London on Friday. The photograph of France’s first lady is part of an auction entitled Sex and includes works by Henri Matisse, Tom Wesselman, David Hockney, and Nan Goldin. The Bruni photograph was expected to bring $7,500 at auction.
