A bat spotted at last week’s Indiana Pacers game might have infected fans with rabies, health officials have warned. The bat stole the show, and halted play for about four minutes, when it was seen flying around at the Pacers-Los Angeles Clippers game in Indianapolis last Thursday. The Indiana State Department of Health says anyone who touched the bat with their bare skin should urgently contact the department or their health-care provider to ask about getting a series of rabies shots. The officials don’t know if the bat, which has since been removed from Bankers Life Fieldhouse, has rabies. There have been no reports so far anyone of anyone falling ill.
