BBC Satire Jokes About Harry’s Drug Use

Did nobody at Have I Got News for You get the memo that Prince Harry is reformed (well, reformed-ish) now? The BBC satire program is under pressure to apologize after joking Saturday night that Harry snorted cocaine. Comedian Jo Brand, the show’s head presenter, said that Hugh van Cutsem is a “nickname for “Hugh cuts ‘em and Harry just snorts ‘em.” The camera then cut to Paul Merton, who seemed surprised by the joke, and then the other captain Ian Hislop, who remarked “have we lost the lawyers?” Furthermore, the joke had been in relation to Prince George’s christening, and one of his godparents is William van Cutsem, not Hugh. So good job, guys.
