BBC Star Allegedly Paid 17-Year-Old for Sexual Images

The BBC has yanked one of its stars off the air while it investigates an allegation that he paid a 17-year-old for sexual images. “I blame this BBC man for destroying my child’s life,” the girl’s mother told The Sun, which broke the story. She said her daughter used the $45,000 she was paid over three years to finance a crack cocaine habit. The presenter has not been named, but the BBC said, “We treat any allegations very seriously and we have processes in place to proactively deal with them.”
