Ben Harper to Divorce Laura Dern

Two-time Grammy winner Ben Harper is filing for divorce from his wife, the actress Laura Dern. Citing irreconcilable differences, he is also asking the judge to deny Dern any sort of financial support and wants legal and physical custody of their two children, 9-year-old Ellery and 5-year-old Jaya. The two were married in 2005 and apparently separated back in January. But people close to the couple seem to be saying that the divorce may not be as acrimonious as the papers suggest. They claim that Harper and Dern lived and traveled together all year and were still being intimate as recently as last week.
