Rep. Keith Ellison endorsed Bernie Sanders Monday ahead of the first Democratic debate Tuesday night. He is the second congressman to endorse the senator from Vermont, following the lead of fellow Progressive Caucus co-chairman Rep. Paul Grijalva. “I’m endorsing Bernie because he is talking about the issues that are important to American families,” Ellison's spokesman told MSNBC.
