With an Emmy nomination, a new hit television show, and a 2011 pin-up calendar on the way, Betty White only had one more move to make to solidify her superstar status—launch a clothing line. Hollywood’s only remaining Golden Girl and current Hot in Cleveland star has produced a line of t-shirts and sweatshirts with a digital twist. The 88-year-old actress’ line includes washable earbuds and an accompanying jack to plug into iPods and other MP3 players. White’s designs are take-offs on various iconic Pop Art images—a nod to Andy Warhol’s Marilyn, another inspired by the Sex Pistol’s God Save the Queen, a Miami Vice look, and the star’s own take on Shepard Fairey’s Obey design for President Obama. A portion of the proceeds from the t-shirts and hoodies, which range from $28 to $48, will go to the Morris Animal Foundation.
