It was only a matter of time before a book publisher banked on Betty White’s sudden popularity: The 88-year-old actress has signed a two-book deal with G.P. Putnam’s Sons. The first book, titled Listen Up!, will be a memoir—a compilation of “life lessons learned during her incredibly varied and long career in Hollywood.” The second book will be called The Zoo and I and will be about White’s experiences at the Los Angeles Zoo, where she’s a board member. White has previously written or co-authored five books.
