Model Beverly Peele was critically injured in a car accident in Los Angeles on Monday night, TMZ reports. According to a source, she is currently in “very serious condition” at the UCLA Medical Center. Peele has appeared on over 250 magazine covers throughout the 1980s, and was the face of several campaigns, including Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, and Versace. Peele was arrested for identity theft in 2005, placed on three years’ probation, and sentenced to 300 hours of community service.
