Beyoncé Endorses Beto O’Rourke in Instagram Posts

The singer wrote that she feels “grateful for everyone... who fought so hard to give us all the right to have a voice.”

With over two hours left before the polls in Texas close, Beyonce endorsed Democratic senate candidate Beto O’Rourke in a series of Instagram photos. The singer posted a video and two photos of her sporting a “Beto for Senate” baseball cap and a black sweatshirt. “I’m feeling grateful for everyone before me who fought so hard to give us all the right to have a voice,” the singer wrote in one caption. “We can’t voice our frustrations and complain about what’s wrong without voting and exercising our power to make it right. We need you. We all need each other, because when we are truly united we are unstoppable.” She continued, writing, “Sending you all love and positivity on this happy voting day! Every vote counts. Every race matters. Everywhere.” A slew of celebrities—including Eva Longoria, LeBron James, Jim Carrey, and Travis Scott—have come out in favor of O’Rourke in his race against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
