Let’s hope Hillary Clinton can correct this when she speaks this afternoon: Vice President Joe Biden Thursday night said that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who has ruled the country for 30 years, is not a dictator. “I would not refer to him as a dictator,” he said on PBS’ NewsHour. He also rejected a comparison between the Egyptian protests and other protests in the Middle East, as well as the protests in Eastern Europe before the Soviet Union fell. He did say that he hopes Mubarak “is going to respond to some of the legitimate concerns that are being raised.”
