They are the facts,” Biden repeated firmly, not for the first time. “Every time Romney is asked about this he has a lot of verbiage but says he wouldn’t do anything different.” Ryan disagreed: “What would we do differently? We wouldn’t refer to Bashar Assad as a reformer when he’s killing his civilians with Russian weapons.” Biden responded by calling out Ryan’s lack of specific alternatives. “What would my friend do differently? If you notice he never answers the question.”
