Joe Biden is expected to appear as a surprise presenter at Sunday’s Academy Awards, Page Six reported Wednesday. The vice president will join Ryan Gosling, Lady Gaga, Charlize Theron, and Kevin Hart as some of the evening’s presenters. It’s unclear what category Biden will announce, Page Six reports. The veep is not the first appearance for the White House at an awards show. Michelle Obama presented Best Picture at the 2013 Academy Awards for Ben Affleck’s Argo, but the first lady presented via livestream from the White House.
