SWEET DEAL

Bieber Evades Drunk Driving Charge

Pleads guilty to lesser offenses.

The teen idol you love to hate just managed to avoid being tried for drunk driving. Justin Bieber struck a plea deal with Miami law enforcement in a DUI case. He will plead guilty to careless driving and resisting an officer instead. As part of the deal. he will have to take a 12-hour anger management course, as well as donate $50,000 to charity (a relative drop in the bucket for the pop star). In January, Bieber was stopped by cops after reportedly drag racing with a friend. He fired off a barrage of curses at the officers, and tests showed he had marijuana and Xanax in his system at the time of arrest. Bieber will not actually attend Wednesday’s court hearing in Miami. Of course.
