At an appearance Wednesday night, Bill Murray defended fellow actor Dustin Hoffman, who was accused of sexual misconduct late last year. One woman, Cori Thomas, alleged that Hoffman exposed himself to her when she was 16 years old. Two other women allege the actor sexually assaulted them. At the time, Hoffman’s lawyer called the allegations “defamatory falsehoods.” On the same stage where John Oliver confronted Hoffman about the allegations last December, Murray on Wednesday night praised Hoffman as a “really decent person.” He went on to call Hoffman “crazy” and a “Borscht Belt flirt,” but a “sweet man.”
