Bill O'Reilly on The View: Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar Walk Off Set
After Bill O'Reilly blames Muslims for 9/11.
We’ll probably be hearing about this on The O’Reilly Factor tonight: Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walked off the set of ABC’s The View on Thursday after guest Bill O’Reilly exclaimed, “Muslims killed us on 9/11.” The audience gasped, but then applauded as Whoopi and Behar exited stage right. During a a heated talk about the proposed Islamic Center near ground zero, Whoopi asked O’Reilly to clarify his thoughts. The audience immediately applauded when O’Reilly said that nearly 70 percent of Americans don’t want to have a mosque near the site of the terrorist attacks. Barbara Walters later stated that she was displeased with the co-hosts behavior.
