Bill Paxton’s fatal stroke was triggered by an aneurysm that required surgery, TMZ reported on Monday based on the late actor’s death certificate. It had previously been reported that Paxton died after suffering complications from surgery, but TMZ discovered that on February 14, the actor underwent valve-replacement surgery to correct an aortic aneurysm. Eleven days later, on February 25, the 61-year-old star passed away from a stroke.
