Billy Dee Williams is reprising his role as Lando Calrissian in the new installment of Star Wars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Williams made his debut in the series as the suave space gambler in Empire Strikes Back and was last seen in 1983’s Return of the Jedi. Actress Keri Russell also was recently added to the Star Wars: Episode IX cast list. The movie will be directed by J.J. Abrams, and main cast members Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Adam Driver will reprise their roles. Calrissian made an on-screen return in the Star Wars spinoff Solo, with Donald Glover playing a younger version of the character.
