Iowa Governor Terry Branstad has declared a state of emergency as bird flu continues to infect poultry throughout the state, with now nearly 25% of poultry being affected. More than 15 million chickens and turkeys are expected to be destroyed at 17 commercial operations in the state. Iowa is the nation's larging egg-producing state.
