Sweet victory! The Chicago Blackhawks captured their first Stanley Cup in almost 50 years, beating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 in overtime. Patrick Kane scored the winning goal 4 minutes 6 seconds into overtime of Game 6. The thriller was the perfect ending for the Blackhawks, who came from last place in the NHL and went 49 years without winning a championship. The team's previous distinction was having the longest dry spell in the NHL.
