Since Monday, India has been suffering from massive power failures, leaving more than 600 million without electricity. But there’s still access to social networks: Indians posted complaints about the government’s failure to meet the growing power needs of the rapidly developing country as well as other experiences without power. The grid failure also stranded 200 coal miners. By the afternoon rush hour Tuesday—an estimated 1.8 million relay on the metro in New Delhi—only about 40 percent of the power had been restored, according to Reuters.
