Yemeni security officials on Tuesday said three explosions rocked the southern port city of Aden, where one attack hit a hotel housing the prime minister and other government officials. Details on casualties were not immediately clear, but Prime Minister Khaled Bahah escaped unscathed, said Nayef al-Bakri, the minister of youth and sports. Bahah, who serves as both Yemen’s vice president and prime minister, was installed along with ministers in Aden after the city was taken by from Houthi rebels in July. A separate attack reportedly occurred at the residence and headquarters of troops from the United Arab Emirates. Witnesses reported the hotel was on fire and ambulances were at the scene.
