New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced Saturday he is starting a $12 million dollar ad campaign to put Senators on the spot about gun control reform. The ads, which will begin airing Monday 12 states target specific senators who Bloomberg believes might be persuaded on gun control in districts in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona and North Carolina. The ads do not make reference to the assault weapon ban, which was dropped by Senate democrats from the gun control bill last week.
