The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Baltimore Orioles in dramatic fashion during Tuesday evening’s single-game AL Wild Card playoff. In the bottom of the 11th inning, slugger Edwin Encarnacion bashed a three-run home run to the second deck of the Rogers Centre’s left-field stands, giving his team the 5-2 victory. This was the fourth walk-off victory in Blue Jays postseason history. The Jays will advance to face the Texas Rangers in the first round of the American League Division Series, beginning Thursday in Arlington, Texas.
