BMX rider Pat Casey—who won gold at the 2021 X Games—was killed this week when he crashed while performing a jump at the Slayground Motocross Park in Ramona, California. “He lost control and was ejected,” the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office reported, according to E! News. Pro BMXer T.J. Lavin paid tribute to Casey—a married father of two—on social media, writing, “The world lost one of the baddest to ever do it.”
