North Carolina congressman Bob Etheridge has a potentially devastating controversy on his hands, as a video of him losing his temper with two young men on the street has gone viral. Etheridge, a Democrat, was approached by two camera-wielding men and asked if he “fully supports the Obama agenda.” He reacted to their approaches angrily, demanding “Who are you?” over and over, finally knocking the camera down and grabbing one of the men by the arm and neck. The two questioners would only answer, “All we are is students.” Etheridge has released an apology, saying, "I deeply and profoundly regret my reaction and I apologize to all involved." Many are not satisfied, calling on the congressman to be charged with assault. "Bob Etheridge has lost it," a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee said today.
