Veteran journalist Bob Schieffer bid farewell to CBS News' Face the Nation on Sunday, ending his final broadcast by thanking the show's staff. Schieffer, who has been with CBS News for more than 46 years, called his job as moderator on the show "the best job in the world." The 78-year-old has won nearly every broadcast journalism award in the field, including eight Emmys. John Dickerson will take over for Schieffer as the news host beginning June 7.
