Boehner Lists VP Picks

Throws out some names, says it’s up to Romney.

CNN’s Candy Crowley got John Boehner to throw out some sames of suitable vice-presidential picks for Mitt Romney—but it’s unclear whether Marco Rubio, Rob Portman, and Mitch Daniels are the House speaker’s top three or just the first three he could think of. “There are a lot of people that I like,” he said. “But this is a personal choice for Gov. Romney, and I’m confident that he’ll have a running mate that will be helpful to the ticket.” Boehner’s No. 1 quality for a VP? “Are they capable of being president in the case of an emergency?”
