Even John Boehner wants Mitt to pipe down. The House speaker slammed Romney's attacks on the president's "hot mic" comments to Dmitry Medvedev. "While the president is overseas I think it's appropriate that people not be critical of him or our country," Boehner told NBC News on Tuesday. As Talking Points Memo points out, it is an American political tradition to not criticize the President while he is out of the country.
