Bolivian President Evo Morales is still smarting from his plane's grounding amid suspicions that U.S. leaker Edward Snowden was aboard, and now he says he might close the U.S. embassy in his country as retribution for what he calls a violation of international law. “We don’t need them, we’ve got other allies,” Morales said. The threat was made during a summit yesterday with leaders of several South American countries who rallied behind the inconvenienced president and demanded apologies from the Western nations that denied Morales airspace under pressure from Washington.
