Bollywood star Salman Khan was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for the killing of a homeless man in a 2002 hit-and-run, dismissing his claim that his driver was behind the wheel. Judge DW Deshpande found Khan guilty of culpable homicide for driving his Toyota Land Crusier into a group of homeless men sleeping in Mumbai after an evening of drinking. One was killed and several others were injured in the incident.
