Police call it “domestic terrorism.”

Police found a bomb along an MLK Day parade route in Spokane, Washington—an event the FBI called “domestic terrorism” Tuesday. The bomb, which was “capable of inflicting multiple casualties,” was found in a backpack on a bench in downtown Spokane. It reportedly had a remote detonator, and was positioned so that it would explode outward toward marchers. Police found two T-shirts in the backpack reading, "Stevens County Relay For Life June 25th-26th 2010" and "Treasure Island Spring 2009."
