Bomb-Wearing Bank Robber Thwarted

Police are investigating whether an overnight home invasion in Bristol, Connecticut may have turned into an active hostage situation when a would-be bank robber was discovered near a credit union with an explosive device attached to him. Police said during a press conference that they found the man in a car with explosives strapped to him, but they are “considering all possibilities,” including whether the man was forced to act against his will.
