Bombing Suspect Faces Federal Charges

Ahmad Rahami, the suspect in a series of bombings in New York and New Jersey, was charged with four counts in federal court on Tuesday including the use of a weapon of mass destruction, bombing, destruction of property and use of a destructive device. In the aftermath of his arrest, his father revealed that the had told the FBI two years ago that his son had been acting violently. Additionally, it was reported that Rahami had made multiple trips to Pakistan and Afghanistan in recent years.
