Lesbian, gay and transgender groups will march in Boston’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday, since organizers have lifted a ban on homosexual groups joining the festivities. Two gay rights groups, Boston Pride and OutVets (which represents gay veterans) will march in the parade. “This is a huge step forward in our mission to have inclusivity in our city and in the Boston-area community,” Malcolm Carey, clerk of Boston Pride’s board of directors, told Reuters.
