Botox Pioneer Found Dead at 65

Dr. Fredric Brandt, a well-established dermatologist, author, and radio host, was founded dead of alleged suicide at his Miami home. The 65-years-old man hanged himself, according to a spokesperson for the Miami police department. Brandt, whose clients included high-profile celebrities such Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna and Kelly Ripa, was an early pioneer of Botox. His publicist said he suffered from depression and cited Brandt’s “upset by a thinly veiled portray of him by actor Martin Short on the Netflix Show, ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.’”
