Boulder, Colorado, police have confirmed that the man believed to have placed a failed explosive device inside a Jefferson County mall last week has been arrested. Earl Albert Moore, 65, was cuffed Tuesday morning, a police spokesperson said, though she declined to release further details. The bombing scare occurred only one week after Moore was released from federal prison for robbing a West Virginia bank in 2005. He has also been convicted in multiple larceny cases, along with a drug offense and reckless driving. Moore lived in Colorado for several years prior to the bank heist in 2005, and records show he had financial issues leading up to the robbery.
