Following Davie Bowie’s death last week, U.S. sales of his music jumped by more than 5,000 percent in the week ending Jan. 14. Bowie’s Blackstar was his first album to top the Billboard 200. He died two days after releasing the album. According to Nielsen Music, Bowie’s combined album and song sales for the week rose to 682,000—Blackstar alone made up 174,000 of those sales.
