Variety reports that, "Breaking a longstanding taboo," several movie houses are releasing aggressive, male-driven pictures during Super Bowl weekend. Usually a box office refuge for chick flicks and lighter fare, this year's Bowl weekend will feature action-pcaked Liam Neeson vehicle "Taken" and horror pic "The Uninvited." Also out this weekend is Renee Zellweger romantic comedy "New in Town," which will compete with ongoing Oscar contenders "Slumdog Millionaire," "Milk," "The Reader," and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
