Boy, 7, Found Dead at Summer Camp


He “wandered away.”

Police in Boston are investigating a 7-year-boy’s death after he allegedly wandered from summer camp and was found dead in the nearby water. The boy, identified later as Kyzr Willis, went missing around 2 p.m. on Tuesday at a community center day camp. Five hours later, his body was found. It’s not clear how the boy ended up in the water or if he was unsupervised. “This is the worst part of our job,” said Boston police commissioner William Evans. “Dealing with a tragic death like this.” Evans added, “Obviously our hearts break for the family. It’s everyone’s worst nightmare.”
