Given his legacy as a post-glam, post-punk 1980s pop icon, Boy George seems the least likely to be an avid fan of The Doors. And yet, on Conan Monday night, he showed off his rock chops, covering the legendary rock band's “Hello, I Love You” with Jack Black and Doors’ guitarist Robby Krieger.

Tenacious D fans already know that Black has a pretty rockin’ voice but the surprise here is that Boy George's throaty vocals are less like the androgynous alto of his Culture Club days and more like a smoother Tom Jones.

Needless to say, this odd grouping absolutely crushes it.
