BP Chief Tony Hayward to Resign?

Says Russia’s deputy prime minister.

If this doesn’t do the trick, maybe we should assign Rolling Stone to profile him: Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin said on Monday that BP CEO Tony Hayward will soon resign. The comment came before meetings between BP and Russia, where the energy company is a top corporate investor. "We know that Tony Hayward is leaving his position and he will introduce his successor," Sechin said. However, a spokesman for BP said, “Tony Hayward remains chief executive officer. No change to that position is under discussion.” BP gets a quarter of its global output from Russia.
