Gulf Disaster

NYT: World's largest oil spill in marine waters.

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill—which The New York Times says “is by far the world’s largest accidental release of oil into marine waters”—could be over once and for all on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Associated Press says BP is delaying decisions on claims for damages until the government takes over the compensation process later this month.
