BP: Hardened Cement Plug Seals Oil Well

Allows relief well drilling to resume.

Things are finally looking up in the Gulf: According to BP, pressure tests show that the cement pumped to seal the blown-out well has finally hardened. Engineers can now resume drilling the last 100 feet of the relief well that will finally cease all oil from spilling into the Gulf. BP did not say if relief-well drilling had begun.
